Here is what I have noticed as a 30 hundred woman trying to date (among other things), men don’t respect you. Now let me cook alright…before you bite my head off! You know how they say having a man in your life gives you some sort of a status in society..like some respect to some extent, from ofcos your fellow male aquintances…friends…general men around you really…whelp I’m here to tell you that I have witnessed this to be true in my own life..the opppsite of this ofcos because…no man!.

I have experienced it all, from unannounced visits, to late night texts, calls. Now, I am convinced that if I had a man, these guys wouldn’t have felt so comfortable to call me at 11pm after they have had a couple of beers…to “check up” on me, small talk, because we are friends! Clearly..in their mind I’m available for a booty call, nevermind the fact that he is married,or has a girlfriend, nnooo because i dont have anyone at home, it’s okay to receive those calls, texts at that time, right? Wrong!.

I find this very disturbing, I mean where is the respect, just because I am home alone, does that give you the right to call me text me at inappropriate hours? Just because I do not have a man next to me means you can just pop in when ever you want? Really? Why can’t you extend me the same respect , you with a wife, girlfriend next you, don’t I deserve the same respect? Men are weird!
